Alexandria Morgan is a writer/director based in Chicago, IL. Morgan works to craft nuanced and layered Black female characters that destroy any monolithic experiences and create new, bold and worldly experiences that Black women are often not seen in. Her shorts Requiem (2023) and Iris (2024) are both currently in the film festival circuit with the latter being a recent finalist in the Independent Short Awards. She is a recent graduate of Syracuse University where she received her MFA in Film, as well as a graduate of Howard University where she received her B.A. in TV and Film with a minor in French.
