Astin Rocks. currently serves as the Narrative Shorts Programmer at the Atlanta Film Festival. She boasts 15 years in the film industry as an independent filmmaker, curator, multimedia artist, and educator, working as close to home as Atlanta, and as far as Beijing. When she's not writing screenplays or judging films, Astin is coordinating underground concerts with her rock band, Thee BLK Pearl.
