Mackenzie Richardson is a writer-director based in Charlotte, North Carolina. She has directed a narrative short and a documentary. Mackenzie was selected to be apart of GLAAD’s 2025 Black Queer Creative Cohort. She’s also writing her debut narrative feature.

In her films, Mackenzie aims to tell queer focused stories specifically centered around women of color.
