BLACK CREATIVES SOCIAL CLUB

Black Creatives Social Club (BCSC) is a safe space for Black creatives to create, collaborate, and cultivate their craft. We bring together writers, filmmakers, storytellers, and more in an affirming community that nurtures growth and supports long-term artistic development.
Our programs are designed to help Black creatives finish what they start, expand their network, and build creative confidence — all while feeling seen, supported, and empowered.

FINISH WHAT YOU START.

FINISH WHAT YOU START.

The BCSC 30-Day (Soft) Draft Challenge is built to help  creatives develop sustainable writing habits, stay accountable, find community, and finish a full draft — without burnout.

With weekday writing, weekend rest, Monday accountability check-ins, and an exclusive Discord for support, you’ll write alongside a community committed to showing up and finishing strong. Whether you’re drafting a feature, pilot, novel, or something in-between, this challenge adapts to your goals.

THE
WRITERS ROOM

The Black Creatives Social Club Writers’ Room is a 10-week virtual program built on the belief that our stories matter. Through structured weekly workshops, guest speakers, and honest peer-to-peer feedback, members gain practical tools and necessary accountability as they develop an original Feature or TV Pilot script.

Applications for the 2026 Spring Cohort are now closed. They will reopen in the spring for the 2026 Fall Cohort.

WE HAVE A TENDENCY TO TRY TO NETWORK UP WHEN REALLY IT IS ABOUT NETWORKING ACROSS. WHO’S NEXT TO YOU? THOSE ARE THE PEOPLE YOU NEED TO BUILD WITH.
